देश के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी (Atal Bihari Vajpayee) जितने अच्छे कवि और वक्ता थे, उतने ही ज्यादा पढ़े लिखे भी थे. उनके जीवन से आज भी लोगों को खूब प्रेरणा मिलती है. उन्हें उनके करीबी ‘बापजी’ कहकर पुकारते थे. अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी का जन्म 25 दिसंबर, 1924 को हुआ था. उनके पिता का नाम श्री कृष्ण वाजपेयी था, वह एक स्कूल मास्टर और कवि थे. पूर्व पीएम वाजपेयी भी अपने पिता की ही तरह बेहद अच्छे कवि बने.
